Puvadol has taken photographs that tell stories about ordinary things that captured his attention and spoke to him. What we normally see in his photographs may look very familiar but a closer look suggests they often include hidden dimensions and meanings that are not easy to explain in words. Maybe it is the common experience found within those photographs that provide a chance to bring the viewer along with him in a voyage that can be found deep into their own thoughts. This photo series is no exception, Puvadol examines memories from his own childhood, looking at the nostalgic truth of time and the undeniable changes in life. His photographs take the audience on a journey to face happy times we had in the past versus the hard truth of change over time even in their own home.

About Artist

Puvadol Saengvichien is a photographer based in Bangkok, Thailand. He was born and raised in Samut Prakarn, a suburban town near Bangkok, earning a bachelor degree in Architecture and an MBA in Marketing. After an 18-year long career in architecture, retail and product management, Puvadol left the corporate world behind to pursue his passion for Photography.
