จากประสบการณ์ และผลงานที่ผ่านๆ มาของผม ต่างก็มีความตายเป็นส่วนประกอบ ความกลัวการสูญเสียคนในครอบครัวจากผลงานชุด KANDA ความเข้าใจในวัฏจักรของชีวิต เกิดขึ้น ตั้งอยู่ และดับไปเป็นอนัตตา ANATHA ผมมักถามตัวเองอยู่เสมอว่าหลังความตายมันจะเป็นอย่างไร จะมีโลกหลังความตายอย่างในความเชื่อดั่งเดิมของมนุษย์ไหม หรือเราแค่แปรเปลี่ยนไปเป็นอย่างอื่นที่ไม่ได้มีกายหยาบ แต่กลายเป็นอะไรที่สามารถปรากฏขึ้นมา ณ ช่วงเวลาหนึ่ง
ในผลงานภาพชุดนี้จะเล่าถึงมุมมองส่วนตัวของผมที่มีต่อแสงจากการสังเกตุแสงที่ปรากฏตามสถานที่ต่างๆ ทั้งที่เป็นแสงกระทบ หรือสะท้อน ซึ่งแสงในแต่ละที่มีความเชื่อมโยงต่อสิ่งต่างๆ ในสภาพแวดล้อมเดียวกัน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นสิ่งมีชีวิต และไม่มีชีวิต ในผลงานภาพชุด FOR A WHILE ผมต้องการที่จะเปรียบเทียบแสงกับวิญญาณเนื่องจากผมสังเกตุว่าในบางสถานที่ แสงที่เกิดขึ้นในวันและช่วงเวลานั้นแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยยะสำคัญ และในช่วงที่แสงปรากฏนั้นก็เกิดขึ้นเพียงชั่วคราวเหมือนกับวิญญาณ ภูติผี ตามความเชื่อดั่งเดิมของมนุษย์ที่บอกเล่ากันมาว่ามักจะพบเห็นในที่สถานที่ต่างๆ รูปแบบก็ต่างกันขึ้นอยู่กับปัจจัยแวดล้อม

Death is usually an important factor of my experience and all of my past works: The fear of losing family members from the photo series “KANDA” and the understanding of life’s cycle that everything has the beginning and the end then becoming no-self called “ANATHA”.
I always ask myself, what does the afterlife look like? Is there a world after death as in the original beliefs of humankind? Or we just change to another form, no bodies, but appearing to something just temporarily instead.
“FOR A WHILE” is my personal vision about light. I do observe that light which becomes visible in many places. It hits, reflects and connects both living or non-living things together in the same environment. This makes me feel like our soul after we die is similar to light. Because in some places, I see the period of time in which light occurring has different significance. And it appeared only temporarily like spirits or ghosts. As someone said, ghosts are often seen in various places with different forms depending on environmental factors.

สุกฤษฎิ์ ปัจจันตดุสิต หรือ เปา (AKA SiiXTY-4) เป็น Code name ที่หยิบมา ใช้เป็นนามปากกาเพราะมีความรู้สึกผูกพันกับเลข 64 มาตั้งแต่สมัยวัยเด็กจนโต และเป็นเสมือนตัวชี้นำ ในด้านความเชื่อ และการตั้งคำถามถึงสิ่งต่างๆ . จบการศึกษามาจาก มหาวิทยาลัยรังสิต คณะ วิทยาลัยการออกแบบ สาขาศิลปะภาพถ่ายและสื่อทัศน ปัจจุบันเป็นช่างภาพฟรีแลนซ์ และมีความสนใจในการถ่ายถาพ สิ่งของทั่วไปที่ก่อให้เกิดความรู้สึก และความทรงจำ
During Sukrit was a kid. He lives in his mother’s no. 64/… house in Songkhla. When he turned 18,he moved to Pathum Thani to study for a bachelor’s degree. At that moment, he missed his homeland very much and noticed that whatever he did or wherever he went to. He always found the number “64” around him. Meanwhile, he watched a movie called “The Number 23”. And this film inspired him to use the number “64” as a pen name.
He defined the number “64” as fate and peace of mind. He feels like it is a life for him.
He lives with it since he was born, from the beginning to the end of the alley, all his
mother's neighborhood’s houses got no. “64” at its first start. He is surrounded by it.
So, he feels like this number can guide him home anytime he sees it.
