This photo series is a common work of me (Saeed Rezvanian) and Farzaneh Radmehr. We are living in Iran. I work in photography and cinema field and Farzaneh works in photography, drawing and fashion designing.
What is this series?
“Our scattered parts” photo series is trying to investigate the nature of memories and its mechanisms and entails the simulated show of human strangle in overcoming the time.
The photos in this series are created by photomontage that made by composing of old archive of Iranian families album (between 1940s to 1970s) with image of broken and tinker old plates. For creating these photos we surveyed more than 3000 of old photos from old family albums and finally about 20 photos have been selected for this series. The plates have been collected from different parts of Iran.
How/When did you start this series?
We did this project between 2013 to 2016. This series has been shown two times in Italy at “Photo Pocket Project” and “Vernice” art fair, one time at “Kolga” festival in history museum of Tbilisi in Georgia, also won a second prize of “Chang” photo award in Thailand.
Farzaneh Radmehr was born 1982 in Iran. She entered to art world with photography in the following she also doing digital drawing and fashion designing with her own brand. Most of her works regards ego of human beings as a creature, the cosmos and all secrets. Her works have been exhibited in several expos around the world.
Saeed Rezvanian was born 1985 in Iran. He started photography self taught since 2008. Most of his works are realistic photomontage. Human, unconscious, memory, dream, human fears and desires are main subjects in these photos. His works have been exhibited in USA, Italy, England, Serbia, South Korea, Iran and ….
